Owen and Colt vow to protect each other through it all, fighting and running every chance they get, but soon they will come to a dead end, and a choice will be made that will either end their love or uphold it.

They have no choice but to fight to escape the spiritual realm where the dark god Mordren resides. Not only has Mordren been freed from his tomb, but he comes with a fury and vengeance unlike any other for the living world.
Upon reuniting with Brom, Owen and Colt take on an unlikely ally—the Core Wielder, Elian—which causes tension within their group. As they journey out of Vanhelm, they face not only monsters released from the spiritual realm but also dangers from their own world that force them to band together and fight to survive.
Just when they believe they’ve escaped harm, Mordren threatens to claim Owen for a sinister plan that spans centuries. With their world hanging in the balance, Owen and Colt must devise a plan to destroy Mordren or risk losing everything they’ve fought for—including each other.

The Shadowborn Series
When I set out on my writing journey twenty years ago, I found my niche in fantasy. It was fun to read, and it was even funner to write. In all my years of writing (fanfictions, shorts, outlines, poetry, etc.), it wasn't until I was 29 that I decided I was going to sit down and write an original book from start to finish. In 2017, the first book of the Shadowborn Series was born. It was the first book I had finished, and I was proud as hell. I had no idea the next seven years would take me through so many late nights writing, frustrations, trial and error, and tears.
After publishing books 1 and 2 under another author name, I was seeing little traction with readers. The story was fantasy. It was adventure. It featured a very slow burning romance between the two male main characters, and there was zero spice. But I was marketing to the wrong crowd. Originally, my two main characters had a love story to tell, but there were very subtle hints along the way. Now, I realize I should have shown that love story from the very start with full force. So, in October of 2023, after asking for advice on what to do in a writing group, I decided to rewrite this series as I fully intended, as an MM Fantasy Romance. Most of the story is still the same, but there are some new scenes and definitely more romance.
I am proud to say that I have successfully written books 1, 2, & 3. Book 1 was published in March 2024, book 2 was published in June 2024, and the third book will be out in October, completing a full year of rewrites. After seven years, I am happy to say the series is complete.
